Sleek, bouncy, glossy, all without the salon. This 10-minute routine shows you exactly how to get a polished blowout at home from towel-dry to set finish.

What you’ll need
• Heat protectant • Sectioning clips • Comb
• One-step blow dryer brush (e.g., Heatwave Aerflow)
Optional: light serum for finish

Heat settings
• Fine/fragile: Low
• Textured: Low or High
• Coarse/curly: Low or High. Start at the lower end; increase only if hair stays puffy.

Step-by-step (10 minutes)

  1. Prep (1 min): Towel-dry to ~70-80%. Apply heat protectant. Detangle.

  2. Section (1 min): Nape, sides, crown.

  3. Lift roots (2–3 mins): Brush under small sections at the roots; hold 2 to 3s, glide up and away.

  4. Smooth mid-lengths (3–4 mins): One controlled glide per section with steady tension.

  5. Bevel + set (1–2 mins): Turn the last 3 to 4 cm inward or outward. Finish with a cool shot 5 to 8s.

Troubleshooting
Frizz = started too wet.
Flat crown = add over-direction.
Puffy ends = slow down on the last few cms and use the cool shot.

Day-2 refresh (3 mins)
Light mist at roots → quick pass near the roots → one polishing glide on the top layer.
